So every time I go to Loblaws to shop for groceries, I always pass by this stand of organic juices and stuff like that. I've never tried any of them before cuz they're expensive but I decided to splurge a bit on Sunday. I bought myself a bottle of Green Goodness and Vanilla Chai Tea. So anyway, I finally decided to drink my bottle of Green Goodness today. And after a bit of struggle opening the bottle, I discover juice that was about this colour. A nice, thick, blend of puke green goodness.

Not meaning to sound like I didn't like it, it actually tastes quite good. It's supposed to be an apple and kiwi mixture. Here's the description on the bottle:

"Why you should feel good about what's in this bottle.

Pakced with phytonutrients found in nature's most nutritious greens, our Green Goodness is a unique blend of 8 delicious fruits and 14 powerful nutrients. Five to ten servings of fruits and vegetables are recommended every day for good health...and you are holding about 2 of them."

So, lucky me, I've just had two of my daily servings of fruits and veggies. Yes...my juice had veggies in it...a LOT of veggies, as I soon found out from the ingredient label. I had a lot of fun grossing Jess out with the label.

And so...I present to you, the ingredient list from my bottle of Green Goodness:

The yummy ingredients: Apple Juice from Concentrate, Pineapple Juice from Concentrate, Mango Puree from Concentrate, Banana Puree, Kiwi Juice

The other stuff, some which you wouldn't expect to find in a bottle of juice: Natural Flavour, Spirulina, Open Cell Chlorella, Vitamin C, Lime Juice, Zinc Sulfate, Broccoli, Green Tea, Spinach, Barley Grass, Wheat Grass, Blue Green Algae, Echinacea Purpurea Extract, Odorless Garlic, Tamarind Puree, Dragon Fruit Juice, Lemon Bioflavinoids, Jerusalem Artichoke, and Nova Scotia Dulce.

Does anyone even know what Nova Scotia Dulce is? Spirulina? Chlorella? Blue Green Algae? YUM! lol
